Sunday strolling

So I just wrote about our busy September.  It has been a little crazy around here.  School, gymnastics, piano, soccer, Awana, small group, bible studies.  So with the busyness we have carved out time for just our family.  This past Sunday afternoon we made a day of it at our local state park.

No schedules, no agendas, a beautiful Sunday afternoon and just the five of us.

We decided to forgo the waterfall side and head down the river the opposite direction.  Good call Craig.  Basically no people and beautiful views of the trees turning.  The river was so low we mostly rock hopped/sand bar hiked.

Until we found these cliffs.  Had to climb to check them out.

Then down to our turnaround point with some time for our monkeys to play and climb.

So good when we just stop for awhile and just "be" as a family.
