when all through our house we burst with anticipation
To countdown to Christmas, a homemade linked calendar,
and most of the events were definitely above par.
To see the lights at a local Park
Was especially a favorite after dark.
Skating was tried and sledding too
Craig's head is looking less black and blue!
Our monthly visit with our seniors down the block,
we sang some carols and ate cookies shaped like a sock.
Multiple batches of cookies have been made
Monster, English toffee, and cutouts we raid.
Isaac, you have turned into an eager baker
You were made super special by our Maker.
Time to decorate them, get the sprinkles
feeling tired...is that a new wrinkle!?!?!
Andie loves piano and can play her first Christmas song
Careful, though as you listen she doesn't like when you sing along
Caleb, it seems, thinks "why sleep when there's fun to be had"
Even without a nap, though, this one never gets mad.
School is out, lets try something new
Grinch punch it is...and no it is NOT BLUE!!
Most important to remember this season
Thank you Jesus for giving us a reason
To live each day, to laugh and to love
I know You are with us, as my eyes look above.
