Are we there yet?

ARE WE THERE YET??

 

Snow has started to fall here, the next five days look bitterly cold, we are heading into March and we all want to be THERE.  We are tired of traveling on the road of winter, restrained to being inside, restrained to more sedentary activities.  We have all begun looking out the window, sighing, and asking "are we there yet?" 

 

Where is there?  I think right now "there" is outside of these four walls.  "There" is the place we can run a little wilder and shout a little louder.  Where the air doesn't hurt our face when we step outside.  That is "there".  Isaac asked me "when will it be here?  When will it be spring".  

 

Soon.  Soon.  Soon.  Spring....we are ready for you....are you ready for us?
